SAI, in conjunction with the interior design firm of Parker-Torres Design, has completed renovations at the Westin at Forrestal Village of the first floor public areas including a new coffee bar, new lobby bar and seating area, and a new restaurant.  Renovations also included the business center, corridors and elevator lobbies as well as the conversion of an underutilized restaurant into a large function room.  The renovations included new finishes, tile flooring, lighting and custom millwork.

Phase 2 guestroom renovations are in design and will begin in 2009.
A complete renovation of the function spaces including ballrooms, meeting rooms and prefunction areas. The $550,000 project included new millwork entrances, all new ceilings, finishes and lighting, and new FF&E. Exterior work included a new exterior entry vestibule, handicap ramp, custom railings,  planting areas, signage and lighting.

Renovations had to be completed in a compressed time frame to meet the hotel's occupancy commitments.
The existing underutilized gift shop was divided into a smaller shop, with an adjacent new Business Center.  The new Business Center includes airline ticket printing, computers, printers and fax.  The Gift Shop is more appropriately sized, and includes all new millwork, walls and ceiling, using Marriott standards
