SAI worked with the Town of South Hadley from schematic design through construction of this new golf clubhouse for their municipal golf course.  The clubhouse was designed and positioned to capitalize on the views of the golf course and the backdrop of the near by rolling mountains.  Included in the design is a restaurant & bar with commercial kitchen, a golf pro-shop with office, and a covered/uncovered exterior deck.
The addition/renovation to the Greenview Village apartment/condo complex's clubhouse consists of the renovation of an existing, single story, 1,850 S.F.. building with the inclusion of an additional  3,750 S.F.. addition.

The building will house all management and leasing offices for the complex as well as a computer center, entertainment room, fitness area, game room, full kitchen, public restroom with changing area and showers, and a maintenance and storage area. The entire building shall be handicapped accessible with new HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems.
The addition/renovation to the Colonial Village apartment/condo complex's clubhouse consisted of the renovation of an existing, two story, 2,238 S.F.. building with the inclusion of an additional  825 S.F.. addition.

The building will house all management and leasing offices for the complex as well as an entertainment room, fitness area, game room, full kitchen, public restroom with changing area and showers, and an existing maintenance and storage area on the lower level to remain. All public areas of the building shall be handicapped accessible with new HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing  systems.
The public and tenant areas for all three floors of this wood, steel and brick office building were renovated for new tenants.
In the main lobby old hung ceilings were removed and new drywall soffits were constructed with new decorative and energy efficient lighting. To visually enlarge the main lobby unnecessary walls were removed and all handrails were changed to stainless steel. The cold floor tile was replaced with warmer engineered wood flooring.
The tenant spaces were modified to remove most opaque office walls in favor of glass walls or half-height partitions, again to visually open up the spaces. A new floor opening and stair was added between the 2nd and 3rd floors.  Much of the existing lighting and HVAC systems were designed to be reused, saving renovation costs.
SAI was involved with the construction administration phase of the complete renovation of an approximately 24,000 square foot space for Bed Bath & Beyond.  The project consisted of the construction of a new entry canopy and storefront matching the standards required by Bed Bath & Beyond.  All new HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fireprotection systems were also installed.
